Monty is a 20 y.o. draft Percheron cross. he is 17.2 hh and was rescued from a carriage business owner in Boston that intended to send him to slaughter. He is pictured here with Michelle, one of our 4-H volunteers. Monty will remain in the rescue as part of our education program at this time. Monty's days of being harnessed to work are completely over.
SEGA is a beautiful four year old Andalusian. He has been gelded. He has special needs as he is completely blind in one eye. Very lovable and trusting. He can do ring work only.
OLD PAPPY is a 34 year old Appaloosa. A wonderful companion horse and he still has a sparkle in his eye. See Fall Newsletter for his story or email us.
BILLIE is a 15 y.o. QH gelding. Approximately 15hh. Billie came to us
from an owner who could no longer care for him.
He is well mannered and can be ridden lightly.
COLE is ready for adoption. He is approximately 15.2hh
and 16 y.o.. He has very nice ground manners. He can be ridden
but needs an experienced hand under saddle. He is sound.
  
TUCKER is a 4 y.o. miniature horse. Tucker has one eye. His former
owner believes he might have been kicked by a larger horse and had
to have that eye removed. That doesn't seem to matter
to him at all, he has adjusted very well to his condition, he has quite
the personality and loves attention.
He is ready for adoption.
LITTLE LULU (pending adoption as of 9/21/08)
Lulu is a pony 13.1. She has two crystal blue eyes.
She is approximately 10-14 years young. We are not positive of Lulu's beginnings,
only that she was trampled by larger horses in a trailer while
being transported from the West. This incident
occurred several years ago.
She cannot be ridden and would not be suitable for small children.
Little Lulu is slow to trust; but when you have her
trust she will go to the moon and back for you.
She is ready for the right family that is willing to take time with her each day.
WHISKEY LULLABY has been taken into the Rescue. He is an 8 y.o. TB gelding.
Whiskey has been vet checked as sound with clean legs. He picks up both leads and is a joy to ride;
but the first thing you will notice is how willing he is to greet his admirers.
Whiskey 's pictures do not do him justice, he is a beautiful looker, he was a big hit at the Equine Affaire.

AT THE EQUINE AFFAIRE WHO SHOWED GREAT INTEREST IN HIM AND THANK YOU TO POULIN GRAIN FOR THEIR GREAT PRODUCT THAT HELPED PULL HIM THROUGH.
CRYSTAL is also available for adoption as a companion only, CRYSTAL; a beautiful, gentle aged mare QH.
FANCY has been taken home to live out her years with Ashley Crevier.
She will be loved and cared for all the rest of her days.
