Volunteer with CNEER

Volunteerism is at the heart of our rescue efforts and everyone involved has a special task, that of loving the horses that come to us.

Volunteerism┬áis defined as the willingness of people to work on behalf of others, without being motivated by financial or material gain. Volunteers may have special training as rescuers, technicians, or trainers, but the majority of the work is done “as needed,” whether it be the dramatic tending of a horse in peril, grooming and exercising horses, or the everyday chores of feeding, watering and mucking stalls. The general spirit of volunteerism is a gift to all who receive it.

Experience around horses is welcome, but the inexperienced who are willing to learn are just as welcomed.

If you feel you have time, and would like to give to this worthwhile effort, we would love to hear from you!
